Hello 7lazy7 Some diesel engines are equipped with a DCA screw on filter. You did not say how old the engine is. The filter would be 4" round about4" high, and the hoses going into it would have 2 shut-off valves. If you go with 100% anti freeze, you need to put an initial charge on DCA. Cummins was one of the engine company that used this system.Detroit Diesel used another product for the same purpouse and it was called NALCOOL 2000. It came in a quart container, and it usually took 2 of them for a class 8 truck engine. Guido.
