It was always my experience that the "Pet" cattle are the ones that will get you hurt. Not on purpose, but a big 1,000 pound critter can pin you against a wall or similar, and hurt you. Also, lacking fear of humans, they will run over you if they get startled.
Always stay alert, and keep an exit plan, when working with livestock..
