Are you referrimg to the Deere dealer in capac???That would have been Greenias , and they have mooved to M-53 between Imlay & Dryden, Othewise it's Tosh's and he is still there , just smaller. Mr Tosh, was walking around the auction at nolans along with Willie, From Rosy Bros,Dick Coulter and several of the other local dealers , and a Scrap man from Ovid that supossedly bought 200,000.00 in scrap on Friday at the constuction part of the auction. I noticed that early saturday , the prices started high, and started waining as the day went on.I picked up one piece at 7:30 PM and they still had 2+ rows to sell , and when I got there this morning , the guy that loaded me said they finished at dark or just before (8:45 -9:00 here), and he loaded the last truck at 11 pm. I did see a few good deals , a couple of 2-70 whites for under 3000, some older massey 50 loader tractors 25-2800. I bought a David Brown loader for my Case for 150 bucks and a parts hay rake for 85. a-lot of the parts or "project" tractors went for under a 1000 bucks, not bad concidering I have been hearing Iron scrap at 300 a ton or more. The 2 combines he had , a 715 IH , and a 542?? Oliver with both heads went for under 1500 each, and I don't belive they got scrapped. Well it's getting late gotta go , Shawn
