you can't go wrong on that 44d i just bought one for 2000.00 ca $ it run's like a clock, good shape very economical to operate easy to start in cold weather, the price you mentioned seems ok to me
i use mine on 60 acres in southern ontario near lake erie heavy clay soil , it is actually very power full not too many very sold in the east since it was made for much bigger farms out west . go for it .
