I am looking to buy a diesel tractor and need to know how to tell if it is mechanically ok. They smoke and rattle so bad I wouldn't know if they were good or bad. Any help would be appreciated. The last tractor I bought (9n),was wore out and had to be rebuilt. Don't want to end up there again.
