I as well used one back in the 70's. We thought it was the best invention ever! Trouble was, we were just as tired at the end of the day as before because we were able to haul so many more bales. They were still very labor intensive, thus their sales and popularity faded. The accumulators and bale grabs are the best avenue now. Unfortunately, they cannot deliver bales one at a time into lofts.
