I've had a '93 Bravada for the last 12 years, and have changed the fuel pump a couple of times in a quarter-million miles. I've always used the "find-all-the-gas-cans-you-own-and-drain-the-tank-then-drop-it-and-change-out-the-pump" method, but the last time I did it I swore that if I had to do it again I would just cut a hole in the cargo area to save about three hours' work. I figure that once you weld the piece back in and replace the carpet, nobody except you is going to know anyway. Of course, you know what your capabilities are, and there is no substitute for *your own* good judgement...
