So after parking the machine, I found there to be a pinhole in the fuel tank, and a steering hose started leaking on my way back to the garage. So I removed the fuel tank, and welded it up, and replaced the steering hose. I have also rebuilt one of the steering cylinders as well due to a leak. All things are going smoothly BUT. Now i have started to remove the rotary boom swing cylinder, and have run into a few snags. After supporting the boom, and removing the lower pin and the lift cylinder pin, i cannot get the lower bearing hat off of the frame. The upper one came off, and i removed the coupler, but the lower cap will not budge. I am assuming that when it comes off, that i can take the barrel out rotary cylinder out at that point for rebuild? i think?? Any suggestions???
