These utility type of wages are the norm across the industry, oil fields etc. Growing up on a farm I decided that risk and poverty are way overrated. Better to listen to how great is to be poor in Country & Western music. Odd how somebody who makes 40,000 thinks that 80,000 is a sin. Yet people making 80,000 think that is normal and those making 160,000 are sinners. How about third world labour making less than $100 per week for working 60-90 hrs per week? Working 40hrs per week with some benefits. Health and safety coverage at work and making 35,000 in the US would seen like paradise to them. The $60,000 per spouse couple are going to have to learn or have money stress affect every part of their life. To much belief from the media that "you need everything to be happy".
