I have an 01 honda recon. That is a great little quad. for 1600 maybe you could talk him down a few buck I would say its a great deal. Rear brakes are adjustable and easy to replace if you are out of adjusting room. I got my quad new when I was 16 years old. I am 23 now it it is still ticking. I have been rough in that thing and it is still good. Rear axle bearings swingarm bearings and front brakes can wear out so check them. I estimate that mine has 20000 miles on it and has never been rebuilt. Has had a new clutch. New rear brakes once fronts twice. Rear axle bearings 3 times. Swingarm bearings once. Crashed it and bent the axle so replaced that too. This quad has been flipped rolled crashed and thrashed. I would absolutly buy another one. Also it is light enough so that when your stuck just pick it up and push it out. THose big 4x4s are heavy. Good Luck
