Dad is still feeding his heard... no grass in the pastures yet! We are usually out to pasture in mid-April, maybe the 1st of May.
He hauled one load of replacement yearling heifers out already, no grass and not looking good for hay to feed them next winter. Creep feeders are out and hoping we can sell calves in October right off the cows without having to feed... especially with the way corn prices are.
I'm glad I've got one of them there city slicker jobs this year!
