Is the spring and shock in good shape? if that is the type you have. Are the bushings tight? Is the seat pan good? Is it adjusted fore and aft to a comfortable position for you? I have a bad back. I have found over the years they sag and it puts more strain on my back. I rebuilt the seat on my '52 H and installed a new padded seat pan and find it quite comfortable. I have always liked this style the best with the fold over back feature, helps in getting on and off. After a while they get loose and want to flop sideways and that can be a problem for the back, always trying to balance your weight to keep a comfortable position in the seat. You need to be able to relaxe and not feel like you are being bucked out all the time....James
