Do not worry. The -30 will be fine. I cut 15 acres with a TE-20 and a 60" (5ft.) brush mower. Only issue I ever get into is the real thick stuff down in the swampy area. And as others have said... in thoes few areas you take a shorter width cut, or go a little slower to let the mower clear the cut material out.
I cut down Tulip Trees up to 1 1/2" no problem. I have cut briar hedges that were 10ft tall. One heck of a racket but the equiptment handeled it no problem.
