I know of an incident where a fella borrowed a mower and hit a stump. Brought mower back said nothing parked mower. When he came to get the rake,owner of mower asked if he new anything about how the mower got broke. Fella said I hit a stump. Owner in a nice way informed him that was three days ago would been nice to know about it before I needed to use it. Fella brought rake back and said you need to fix rake. Owner said what's wrong? Fella said I hit that stump again. Owner said Oh by the way I am taking the baler to other farm. I'll be over in a coupla weeks to bale your hay for ya. Fella say can't ya wait until I am done with it? Owners says your done with it.
