I am 53, went thru some similar problems a few years ago. The bad news: my docs (3) told me that the human foot was not designed to spend 8,10, 12 hours on concrete. Shoes can help a little, but ya need to get off your feet at every opportunity. Also, more bad news: Lose weight! your feet wern't designed to support a Budweiser belly. I lost weight, sit on my butt as often as I can, and take my shoes and socks off at lunch, let my digits air out. Then I change into clean, dry socks. That helps a lot. What kind of work do you do?
