many years ago a fellow with a handfull of gravel trucks had a welder as mechanic. you should have seen that crazy outfit he welded everything together that had stripped bolts or treads, like wheels to the axles, pumpkins to the axle housing,axle shafts to the drums, even the spare tire was welded to the front bumper. needles to say,he went belly up.
