Had to inspect a fellow's farm today. Have known him for years but never been on the farm. Older gent, a good guy, does his heavy work with a pair of New Hollands. However. Part of my inspection protocols, I have to look everywhere. Behind the shed,an original JD 820. In the shed, a beautifully restored JD 70 Diesel Standard. Behind it, a totally original IH Super WD-9. Beside it, a restored Super WD-6. In another shed,a lovely 62 Rambler. Wish I was able to poke around more places like this. Got to one place there was an A-C "U' back in the trees. Couldn't get to it then and when I got there a year later, it was gone. What he had just done was finish painting a Cockshutt 570 Super with a real nice 30 back in the corner. Wish the wallet was a whole lot fatter.
