My friend John just stopped in.
Although not a "screamer" of a year, it is way better than last year was. On a 20-acre field that he got 3 bales off of a year ago, he just took 24 this time around.
I'm like you. Running out of hay is no darned fun! Kinda scared to cut also because of the daily rains. Guess I might just go ahead and gamble tho.
Checked my sickle on the hay yard; guess I'm ready to roll if I just screw up my courage a little and jump on in. :>(
