Funny you should ask. Was just thinking the other day, June 16th 2003 was the day I ran my ex wife off. In the last five years my life direction has change 180 degrees for the better. Five years ago, I was working for Tyson foods running a poulty harvester (yes I was shooting chickens out of a cannon and I am hear to tell you that ain't near as cool Larry makes it sound!!!!) I went to the mail box and started to figure out I was 20+ grand in debt I did not know about, my house was falling down around me. I was not doing good at all. I worked my but off, not spending any money on anything I did not have to have, worked 60+ hours a week for ol' John's Chicken outfit, got all the credit card and medical folks off my back. In the last 3 I have got a good job, fixed my house up $200 job at a time, started dating (two weeks ago married) a great woman, bought 56 acres, rented my grandmother's row crop ground, bought a ford 960 to "play" with in the tobacco patch and rake hay with, (will fix her up pretty some day if I can ever park her long enough!) I have stared padding my 401k as well as my state retirement with moderate risk stuff, I have made alot of new friends as well as gotten reconeced old ones, I have time to shoot, hunt, and fish. Started a tradition of have'n a huge party if my front yard one weekend a month that draws people from 4 states every year.
Life on my hill is great, don't know how it can be better. Wish every one could be as happy with what they have as I am right now.
Soory if I sound to happy about the world around me but life is too short to be mad and worked up all the time.
