Farmall Super C block

I have a question concering somethng that is forged on the block of a Farmall Super C. On the block between the oil pan and the distributor is the raised words "SPECIAL". This is definately done at the factory. I have asked nuermous questions about this trator and can find no one who has any idea about the identity or the purpose of this denotation. If any body could tell me what this means I would greatly appreciate it.
