A way to find how much weight you need / wnat is:
Bolt the barrel bottom to a 3pt drawbar and chain
it to the top link. Add weight - scrap iron,
rocks, gravel, sand, what ever you have until you
get the traction you need. Then remove the
weights as you weight it. Should give you a good
idea of what you need.
I use a full 50 gal. drum on the back of a Ford
3000 and a 30 gal. on a Ferg. TE 20.
