Sounds like you already have clean terminals because of taking them off so much, but remember a simple solution to clean them is baking soda and water. After cleaning, use axle grease, vaseline (petroleum jelly), gun grease or the tune-up grease as explained below. Keeps them clean and conductive. The felt washers are OK, but not enough. I've used a ton of the spray type, but it's not as good as grease.
