A close relative owned a Ford 861 with power steering. The tractor was powerful, and nimble for it's size. It was the only tractor on his 80 acres (he milked) and never required any repairs except power steering cylinder seal replacement and the expected ignition parts in the 35 years he operated it. His 70 year old son has given it to his 40+ year old children and I suspect it will never be going anywhere in the next 40 years. My brother desires a larger utility tractor (now has our Ford 640) and would love to purchase it. I would also buy it in a New York second. Much better tractor than my JD 430 and a JD 435.
