We use nearly all compact flourescent's now. They do last a lot longer here but I will say that we've had a few blow too. The ones that seem to give trouble are cycled on and off a lot. The ones that are on all the time don't seem to give any trouble... They do use a lot less energy. They are bad in cold weather though. Tradeoffs. I don't think it's right to take incandescent's off the market either because I do still use the odd one. Most of the problems that they have with the CF's could probably be fixed by better product quality rather than this China crap we get too...
