I'll probably get flamed off ytmag for this, but I find this thread pretty annoying.
#1 Incandescent Bulbs
The government is not going to outlaw incandescent bulbs. Some shortsighted CA politicans tried to pass something like this at a local level last year and got laughed out of session. For one, there are existing fixtures that require incandescents to function. On the other hand, using them just makes good fiscal sense. The new ones actually work pretty well compared to the ones from a few years ago.
#2 Outlawing Tractors
This is just ridiculous fear mongering. Is it still legal to drive a car without a seatbelt if the car was made without seatbelts. It is still legal to add lead to your gasoline if your engine requires it. You can run your car without a catalytic converter if it was made without a catalytic convert. And so on, and so on.
#3 Global Warming
If you think it is not happening you are free to publish any findings that prove otherwise. If you're right people will listen. However, if you look at the numbers it seems pretty obvious that it is happening and the chemistry that describes the phenomenon is pretty basic.
There were 2.5 billion people on Earth in 1950, there are 6.7 billion people today, and there will be about 10 billion by 2050. The planet isn' t getting any bigger so some changes are going to have to be made whether you like it or not.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken by Harold alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that the major was produced late 19
