if you got power to the points with key on,and the points are timed and gapped right and in closed position the pushrod has a little play,the condencer and coil are good,al wires are good.check also if the groundstrap is intact and not corroded between the engine and the frame[on right side rear motor mount]find out wether you are getting power to the coil when you are actiually starting. maybe the ignition switch is the problem all along. i would a also try the coil and condencer of the 112. and put on new set of points. On my 110 i have to change them every spring. Then it fires on the 2 revolution,choke closed and trottle wide open.
