I've a 671 turbo in an '83 tandem GMC grain truck. Surprisingly it will pull 6-7mpg Loaded! Seems to have plenty of power for its size. Not sure what horse she is set to but will for the most part keep up with my '85 White/Volvo tractor and 350 Big Cam. Course one totes 54k and one 88k. Best way to drive the DD's is like you absolutely hate it. I mean beat the livin crap outta it. And use a straight weight engine oil. Darned things seem to run forever. Have an 8v71 in an old GMC tractor that you can spin the rings in the sleeves with the slightest pressure and she runs like a top. Really scares me to be honest how it can do that but she does.
