When I was a landlord, I pulled a toilet to reset it. There in pipe was a little kids hat. Lady looked and started crying. Her son was hit by a truck 5 years before. True story and very sad. Another story in same building family had a barbecue fired up in the dining room for heat. Didn't do much for color of ceiling. Used to always carry a pipe wrench when collecting rent or otherwise. Everybody asked me what I was going to do since nothing was wrong. Tough neighborhood. One lady shot her husband on the front porch. One tenant broke out 3 windows to get a shot at ole man coming out of bar across street. Could write a book if I could write. Had to sell cause city said they would take deed since there was dope in house. I said gimme your gun and I will take care of that since you can't do your job. Call me blacklisted and gone.
