I know this is supposed to be a tractor board, but I have been learning more from you all lately about trucks than tractors. I was out voted on aquisition of a real semi recently, and have been informed by the folk that hold the purse strings here, that there is what's called a Nissan UD in our future. It came from a moving and storage co. that took it out of service with 345K mi on it. Maintaince records are intact, and I can't see where anything other than alternator has been put on it about 4 years ago. The seller states 'to his knowledge' it even has the original clutch? Now I hate to admit my lack of knowledge in this area, but can any one provide feed back on Nissan medium duty diesel trucks. Dependability? Any power to pull a 24 ft neck over trailer? Handle it with about 9000 lb on board? Burrhead where are you?
