I posted a month or so back and asked for ya'lls prayers when my wife's Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. First off, thanks for all the prayers. By the time he had been diagnosed he had let his health go to the point that it took them until yesterday to feel that he was healthy enough for surgery.
They did an 8 hour surgery yesterday and removed the part of his pancreas around where the mass was. They said it turned out to be about the size of a large peanut. They also had to remove a small part of his intestine, I guess because the pancreas secretes into the intestine and the part they removed was part of that connection.
As of last night when the surgery was over they said they were able to remove everything and he was doing good. A couple of rounds of chemo had been brought up but we haven't heard for sure what they are gonna do that or not.
So as of right now he's doing good and they say he'll make a full recovery with no cancer or complications. Thanks again for the prayers and please keep them up.
