There is something that leads me to believe in NY that you can use measures like tire spikesm, though I'd not use them unless it was a last resort, and would want an atty's opinion, or rather interpretation of the law, just hate to go this extreme, and those nails would probably be effective, kind of makes the area like a minefield, no mans land if on tires, still agree though, if you wreck fences holding livestock, you ought to be accountable for it, this area is the best grazing at the place and these people make it a pain to make use of it, or did, I've got some large boulders to place as well, hopefully they stay out with the detour I put in the trail. They are in violation of DMV law and or penal law, just have to ID em and catch em, might pay to hide a camera at the corner just to see who is doing what.
