heres the crop report from the field. corn is looking good, ears are filled out nice, starting to fire already. jap beetles ate a lot of the silk off the ears, but they still look good, should do 200bu.ac if all goes well. beans are podded out good, no aphids, sprayed couple weeks ago. havent seen any sudden death either. jap beetles are chewing away still on the leaves, seems like the headlands are the worst. heres some pics. north central illinois. heres one of the little buggers chewing on my beans. (he got squashed after the pic)
