If there's a way, check your coil also. Possibly the only way to do that is buy a new one and try it.
About 12 years ago I was using my brother's 9N with a sickle mower. Would work great for an hour or two then die. I cleaned the carb, changed points, condenser, etc. I was puzzled.
I could go back about an hour later after the tractor died and the tractor would crank up fine and run again for a while. Finally concluded it must be the coil breaking down. Replaced it; needed to do some bush-hogging -- it didn't miss a lick through some rank brush! (I did use an overriding clutch on that bush hog!)
Seems like my brother had to replace the coil again about 5 years ago.
