I remeber many moons ago, I convinced my Dad to let me take one of our tractors to a nearby July 4th parade. He was working, so he couldn't go, so I have to make arrangements with another friend to haul it for me, as I was only 13, and didn't have my license. Here I am, in this HUGE parade, and I take 1st place. Trophy was 4 foot high. Friend was mad because I beat him and he hauled my tractor for me. Just one of many great memories with this old iron...

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
