That idea of detergent oil foaming is an old wives tail thats been around for years, and is a bunch of balony !!! The detergent aspect of oil helps keep the dirt particles in suspension, until they reach the oil filter to be filtered out, It keeps the engine cleaner and has nothing to do with foam or detergent as in laundry soap. all modern oils have anti foaming inhibitors.
