Yea,for the most part. Pastures and hay were junk because of dry weather,but the corn looks excellent. All Fielders Choice. I'm chopping some corn like I've never seen before. I've never had to run that 2-135 White in first gear before with a 2 row chopper,but I am in that stuff. Trouble is,the ears are dropping off. The ones that are still erect are OK,but as they tip,the ground is littered with them. I would imagine it's deer knocking some of them off,but they should be holding on better than that. What's gonna happen with some wind?
