We had a 1990 GM dually reg cab 4x4 with the 454. I never hauled as heavy as 22000, but I can imagine what mileage would be attained. Driving empty we'd get 11 mpg on the highway (we really only drove highway); driving with about 16000-17000 lbs we'd get between 8-9 mpg. Jason
