Hello!
I'm working on a tractor for a friend and I'm trying to find a starter/solenoid. You'll have to forgive me as I'm not a small engine guy, but he said he was tapping on the solenoid on this particular tractor and it was starting. Now, it just clicks. The starter and solenoid appear to be one piece. Cummins told me they were separate and gave me a part number of 191-0933 for the starter and 307-1031 for the solenoid. When I look those up they appear to be separate units? Does the solenoid just LOOK like it's attached, but comes off or unscrews from the starter? Any help would be appreciated!
