The problem here is dealing with the insurance company. If there is no real damage to your garage, get out your chainsaw and you and the neighbor cut the trees up and get them taken care of. No need for insurance involvement. That is the problem today, no one wants to work or take care of themselves anymore. Look at the hurricanes the last few years, the people in the big cities down south sit and wait for the feds to bail them out, the rural folks get out and take care of themselves and their neighbors. If us farmers would wait for the feds all of the time the city folks would have starved a long time ago. Sorry for the rant, just sick of everyone arguing over insurance and is it his problem or mine, just get out there and get it cleaned up.
