a friend of mine has a ferguson 30 with what i assume is for reducing the groundspeed. the unit sets behind the transmission with what looks like a clutch unit in a drum about 8 inches long and 6 inches in diameter.the left (pto lever) cover has a lever about 14 inches long which moves something similar toa yoke which contains a tapered bearing and race. the right(dipstick) cover has a spring loaded wedge which looks to touch the right hand side of the yoke. i have never seen another one of these. from pictures i have seen i don't think it is a howard unit. anyone know if it is a fergusoin part or who else may have offered it? thanks in advance...napaguy
