Frank and Dodd should be persuaded to make a sincere apology -Japanese style- for their failure to oversee the mortgage problems as their commitee leadership positions claimed authority to enforce the laws. A public seppuku/belly cutting would help public confidence in the politicians- if they don't do it voluntarily, a simple beheading at noon in front of supreme court building would be acceptable--axe, sword or guillotine. All their assets then go to bailout fund. Mortgage brokers, shaky bank loan officers, appraisers and house flipping developers would be next in line- they could retire to simple monastary after turning over their assets gained from iffy loans and live , or leave country ahead(with head) of axeman. Cheaper for taxpayers, incentive for good government and reasonable busines practice. RN
