Common problem with newer aluminum Zenith carbs. They will warp the top half if you tighten the screws too much---and it doesn't take much. Some carb rebuilders refuse to work on them for this reason. I have one on my Allis B and have very carfully resurfaced it with a large fine flat file, but it takes time and patience. Then you have to be careful to not overtighten it again. I keep saying someday I'll find a good deal on an old cast iron Zenith and replace it, but haven't done it yet. Good luck, Paul
