Trapped??? I don't think so. You're playing catch-up. The fella that's been producing your milk, eggs and bread for the past 20 years is the one who was trapped. He's been getting the same price for what he's been producing since the last financial mess. Prices are now catching up to what they should be... and will probably be stuck sitting where they're at for the next 20 years. The consumer is generally the one getting th ebetter of the deal, not the farmer.
