I have used a product called Marine Tek which I buy from a decent marine shop- it is used for repair of cracks in fiberglass and other items. It comes in black and grey, and is a two part mix like JB Weld but resists chemicals better. It can be sanded and painted over. I have used it on F-12 blocks, on both the inside, so it won't show on the outside and used it only on the outside. Haven't had a leak on any yet. The key is you have to get it REALLLLY clean before you put it on, and let it sit for awhile before using it- I think the directions say two weeks. I would suggest this stuff over JB Weld any day.
