Thats just the tip of the iceburg. One of the largest health insurers in the US has outsourced all of its IT and processing to India. When a claim is filed it goes to Bangalore to be processed and then sent back here. All the error coding is done there too. A lady friend of mine worked in IT with them in 2006, they gave her 2 choices, go to India and teach them how to data process health ins claims and have a job for 24 mo or be unemployed in 6 mo when they went online.
