Just some more pictures from the last few days. At the end of the day we have about 40 acres of corn to go and we will be done. Thirty acres of that we have been unable to harvest because of the ground being so wet. We spent a couple hours today poking around trying to get as much of it as we could and finally gave up and moved to another farm. Maybe some nice warm days will help us out.
I dont recall which night this was but we have had a couple of nice clear days and one of them gave us this sunset.
Just the combine rolling along.
A picture from up on the bins.
Evidence of a earlier attempt to pull wagons in this area, unsuccesfully.
Wrigley keeping the seat warm for me. If I could only teach him to hook and unhook the wagons form me!
Some afternoon corn picking.
The 4520 at rest. It had been sitting on the sidelines recently with the mud and cold weather but it got the chance to do a little today. It must have been around 70 degrees today.
The day comes to a end but the work carried on into the dark. The end of harvest is in sight and a welcome sight it is. bill
