Beautiful red-tri! We had Aussies for years and had to put our last one down a couple of years ago.
Our first one, (back in the 70's) was a red merle female and she was a companion, baysitter and "fuss-budget" mom to our two youngest sons who were little kids at the time. When they were outside, she was always right there with them. If they even had a thought about starting toward the road, she would get between them and the road and start barking.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
