We also ran a couple of two drum 3pt mowers, a Fahr and a Krone, before switching to a Claas three drum trailed. We had 60 – 70 hp on the front of the two drums. These required quite a bit of HP, especially on initial start up. While you could get away with less, I think 26hp may not be enough, unless you can find a lighter duty model. Chris
