i think it be mid feb march before we see a real difference. that said friend of mine works at a factory in my area hopkinsville ky. there doing volintary day off to see if they can keep all working. one other friend works at a automitovie parts factory make parts for ford gm toyoto there slow, looking to start laying off line workers and managment type also. doesn't look good to him he a computer geek. so hes looking just in case.if i was still farming i would want to be rasing tobacco seem thoes guy are doing the best. as we been in a two year dry spell. things may be a whole lot different in the spring. i repair farm equipment and most my guys are tobacco farmers. with the price of fuel droping at least my cost well drop.its my bigest cost to my business. as it is to all who drive or farm. i bet input cost for farmer and parts wont drop.
