Gary: OK. Your tractor was built in Gainesborough in late 1949 and it was known as a Series Two which were built from 47 to 49. There were about 2500 of them built.... They were very popular for running threshing machines and were VERY economical, but if they were running near full load and caught a shock load, like ploughing and hit a rock, the transmissions were prone to failure. 12.75 x 28 rear tires were standard. After this, there was a Series three and a Series 3A, but they didn't last too long. Competition from other brands eventually sank them. The whole tractor was copied from the German tractor Lanz Bulldog in the Thirties. One number I came up with is for R.H Crawford and Son, Frithville, Boston, Lincolnshire, England. Postal code is PE22 7DU and the phone is (01205) 750367. Good Luck. Tom
